October 4, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #32 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #17-0009 FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND KITCHEN HOOD SERVICE AND SUPPLIES Description Bids to provide 'Fire Extinguisher and Kitchen Hood Service and Supplies' were received from five vendors on September 7, 2016. The bid of All Florida Fire Equipment was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario. This bid is for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Department. Recommendation That the bid of All Florida Fire Equipment for 'Fire Extinguisher and Kitchen Hood Service and Supplies' in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00, be approved as presented.
